What it does
Warnings on the call screen
Numbers that people across the U.S. reported to the FTC show “Likely Scam” or “Reported Spam” right under the caller's number.
Check any number
Paste or type a number to see whether it was reported, what kind of call it was, and where the number was first assigned.
Block what you choose
Block numbers yourself, or let Porchlight silence numbers rated Likely Scam (3 or more FTC complaints in 180 days). Mark any number safe and it is never labeled.
Neighbor Guard
Label calls that fake numbers starting like yours to look local as “Possible Neighbor Spoof”. The call still rings; people in your contacts still show their names.
Scam Radar
See which scams are rising in your state this week, with a one-line tip for spotting each one.
Siri, widgets and Share
Ask Siri to check a number, keep a protection widget on your Home Screen, or share a text to “Check with Porchlight”.

Private by design
No account, no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics. Porchlight never reads your contacts or call history, and the numbers you look up never leave your iPhone. Reports come from public FTC complaint data, which is not verified, so Porchlight labels calls by default instead of blocking them.
